My husband and I recently got married and had the great honour of having Jacob Medler capture our special day. We found out about Jacob Medler Photography through Wedding Shows Windsor 2021. Right from the very beginning, Jacob was a pleasure to work with. He was always very professional, easy to reach and communicate with, always up for new locations/ adventures and full of great out-of-the box suggestions. Jacob suggested Rock Glen Conservation Area for our engagement shoot, which was such a beautiful area with a waterfall, river, beautiful trails etc. Jacob’s timing, eye for lighting and natural backdrops, as well as his ability to capture beautiful candids of a very shy/ awkward-in-front-of-a-camera couple left us blown away with the results of our engagement shoot. We knew from that moment on Jacob would be the best man for the job of capturing our wedding as well.
For our wedding, Jacob took our shot list and time line and ran with it. He and his second shooter, Dominic, went above and beyond in capturing every moment and group/family photo we requested. They paid extra attention to ensure that we had very important Nigerian cultural aspects of our wedding well documented and beautifully captured. At the end of the night, when I thought they were leaving for the night, Jacob and Dominic came to pull us outside for a special photoshoot with my favorite tree, in the dark and in the light drizzle with the tree perfectly backlit, these men took some of the most breathtaking, out-of-the-box shots that immediately became our favourite photos (even without having seen them at all!). Jacob got our sneak peeks to us in no time at all and we were in awe of the photos we received! The full photo gallery, video and slideshow were made available to us wayyy soon than we expected and we were absolutely delighted with the final results of absolutely everything!!!
We cannot express enough how happy we are with Jacob and Dominic, our photos and our whole experience! Jacob demonstrates knowledge and skills beyond his years and we would HIGHLY recommend Jacob for any and all of your photography needs!

Jacob has now photographed our wedding! He and his friend Dom did photo and video together, and they did an incredible job! We love both our photo gallery and our video. Our sneak peek was delivered to us incredibly quickly, and our fully gallery not too long after! Jacob was worth every dollar we spent. He was incredibly accommodating and put a lot of effort into making sure our wedding day was tailored to us personally. I honestly cannot recommend Jacob any more highly! If i were to get married again, I would pick him once more :)

Jacob really knows what he is doing and makes the whole experience enjoyable! He puts in so much work and yet makes it all look so easy. We had so much fun, Jacob has tons of ideas for shoots while working with your ideas. My partner and I are so excited with how our photos look! Where do I begin! Jacob was just amazing! My husband and I had struggled with finding someone so close in time to our wedding as my father had gotten sick and we had to move up our wedding date. We had found Jacob and instantly loved his work. His pictures weren’t just any regular photos, each photo had told a story and we knew that is exactly what we wanted. Jacob arranged for us to meet to get to know each other at first prior to booking him for our wedding. What can we say, he made us feel so comfortable that we knew he was what we wanted for our wedding.
Jacob is incredibly patient, filled with lots of great ideas and just the kindest soul. We had told Jacob that my husband and I aren’t the most photogenic nor do we like how we look in photos and that was our major concern.
During our engagement shoot with Jacob, he made us feel so comfortable that we not only forgot we were there to take photos but ended up having such a great time. Once we got our engagement photos back we were in awe, we couldn’t decide which photo was the best. We LOVED them all and we knew that we had nothing to worry about for our wedding photos.
Jacob, your photography still to this day makes me tear up, your pictures tell our story. You captured so many great memories for us during our engagement session and wedding day. We can’t thank you enough for all your hard work!!! Thank you sooooo much Jacob!!!

Once I got engaged I knew I wanted a videographer to capture our big day. My photographer had strongly recommended Jacob, having previously worked with him.
From the moment I sent Jacob my request email, he’d been nothing but amazing. We chatted on the phone for quite some time about what was important to myself and my husband. What moments meant the most to us, what pieces of the day were absolutely necessary to be in our wedding video. Jacob was very organized, he provided a questionnaire that I filled out, and at the time I made a point to inform him that my grandmother was ill. I had told Jacob that including our friends and families, the individuals who have come to celebrate our love was crucial to our day and video.
Unfortunately, my grandmother passed a month before my wedding. Although in the absence of her at our wedding, Jacob was able to provide us with the most heartbreakingly beautiful tribute to her. Throughout the weeks after receiving our video, everyone I spoke with told me they sobbed over it. The compliments remain never ending! “I can feel how much love you have for each other through this video.”
Jacob, you exceeded our expectations. You took our wants and desires for this video and brought it to life.
We cannot thank you enough for being apart of our day and leaving us with such a beautiful memory. We will continue to watch this video on every anniversary going forward.
