“Chris and I were engaged in 2019, and we booked with Jacob. Right from the beginning, he was easy to talk to and helped us decide what we needed based on our budget. A thousand emails, COVID-19, a new house, and a baby later, we finally married in September of this year. I probably would’ve canceled if it weren’t for Jacob and Sarah (venue). But they knew that was not what I wanted. On that day, Jacob was excellent. He was very friendly and professional. He was receptive to my decision of not photographing my left side because of an old tattoo. He noticed I became irritated during family photos and told me to take a break to ensure Chris and I had enough time. He made taking photos so easy. He guided us without being entirely in control. ” Where do I begin! Jacob was just amazing! My husband and I had struggled with finding someone so close in time to our wedding as my father had gotten sick and we had to move up our wedding date. We had found Jacob and instantly loved his work. His pictures weren’t just any regular photos, each photo had told a story and we knew that is exactly what we wanted. Jacob arranged for us to meet to get to know each other at first prior to booking him for our wedding. What can we say, he made us feel so comfortable that we knew he was what we wanted for our wedding.
Jacob is incredibly patient, filled with lots of great ideas and just the kindest soul. We had told Jacob that my husband and I aren’t the most photogenic nor do we like how we look in photos and that was our major concern.

“My husband and I recently got married and had the great honour of having Jacob Medler capture our special day. We found out about Jacob Medler Photography through Wedding Shows Windsor 2021. Right from the very beginning, Jacob was a pleasure to work with. He was always very professional, easy to reach and communicate with, always up for new locations/ adventures and full of great out-of-the box suggestions. Jacob suggested Rock Glen Conservation Area for our engagement shoot, which was such a beautiful area with a waterfall, river, beautiful trails etc. Jacob’s timing, eye for lighting and natural backdrops, as well as his ability to capture beautiful candids of a very shy/ awkward-in-front-of-a-camera couple left us blown away with the results of our engagement shoot. We knew from that moment on Jacob would be the best man for the job of capturing our wedding as well. For our wedding, Jacob took our shot list and time line and ran with it. He and his second shooter, Dominic, went above and beyond in capturing every moment and group/family photo we requested. They paid extra attention to ensure that we had very important Nigerian cultural aspects of our wedding well documented and beautifully captured. At the end of the night, when I thought they were leaving for the night, Jacob and Dominic came to pull us outside for a special photoshoot with my favorite tree, in the dark and in the light drizzle with the tree perfectly backlit, these men took some of the most breathtaking, out-of-the-box shots that immediately became our favourite photos (even without having seen them at all!).”
